Jon Max is a studio moniker used by Iowa painter, Tim Wirth.

Wirth was born in 1981 and grew up in a rural Iowa community with two brothers and one sister.  His work can be seen in numerous public and private collections across the country and has been shown internationally.  He currently lives with his wife in Des Moines, Iowa.
